Coachella 2009 Bootlegs
So, as in years past, I've collected bootlegs that surface on the Interwebs, and mailed them out to TAs that want them.
I'm planning to do that again; I'm just trying to get a head start on the address list.
If you're interested, PM me your: Name & Physical Address.
I'll confirm by PM that I have it, and I'll PM you when I send them out.
They usually take about 2-3 weeks after the show to start popping up. Then, they come in waves over the next month as people encode & upload them. Once I get them, I have to convert them to mp3 and tag them.
(if you're interested in the original FLAC versions, I could send those to you instead, just let me know)
Give it to about early June before I mail them out to you.
Again, this is for free. If you want to buy me a drink or hook me up sometime, it'd be most appreciated

This is what you're getting:
17 FLACs
1 Movie
36 MP3s
So, 36 distinct bootlegs.
Last year, there were 38 distinct bootlegs.
11+GB, so 3 DVDs.
If you don't want FLACs, you'll just get one DVD.
how big are they? why not just host 'em?
Or just post them on a torrent site and pm the torrent to people?
I prefer FLAC anyways.
Hotdogwater: the FLAC files will be quite large. 1 album of 15 tracks is usually around 400MB.
ya, of course i was thinking more of a high bitrate mp3

add me up.
thank you, and, FLAC is the biggity bomb.
use whatever uploadyourfckingfilestome.com sharing site that you feel is the best.
Yes I would like the FLAC files too. I <3 FLAC.
A couple of items:
Most of the "free" filesharing sites are a pain in the ass to work with, IMHO.
(However, I've used Google Apps a lot, so I might do some research if that could work for this)
In 2008, it came out to 4 DVDs worth (so about 16GB), that's not a small chunk of downloading.
Some of them I'm getting from semi-public trackers (they're public, but have a login). Some of them don't allow reposting.
In the end, it costs me about $2.00 per person in materials to mail them out. I already spend the time downloading, re-encoding them, tagging them, etc... so it's no big deal to spend the money mailing them out.
In any case, either you like my service and terms, or you don't

| Originally posted by dollaroff The AT&T Blue Room webcast was at 2 DVDs by itself (or maybe more). If each bootleg is ~150MB, that's about 25 of them on 1 DVD, and I know there were at least 40 of them out there. |
Again thanks!

Yeah he hates his sets being recorded.
I have a few sets of his from late last year. Also a private party set from either november or december?
sent you a pm! flac please!
thank you my friend.
About 25 were released in the first week, and about another 25 have been announced by tapers but haven't been encoded/uploaded yet.
(just to look at size, those 25 take about 2.5 GB)
(bump)
I'm waiting on two:
Ghostland Observatory has a torrent I'm on, but the seed is gone. Waiting to see if he comes back or another seed pops up.
Etienne de Crecy was said to be taped, but I'm not holding my breath much longer, alas.
Also, more not-so-good news: it looks like the AT&T Blue Room wasn't taped this year at all.
I'll give it two more weeks, and then I'll start burning the DVDs and sending them out. Assume you'll get them mid June.
thanks for the update!
