Question Favorite Emulators of Hardware?

I'd have to go with the Superwave p8 - I don't think it is a great emulator of the jp8000, but its pretty good and i just love the sounds that can be made from it. I do wish I had a jp8000 (8080 actually) but the p8 has kept me in check from buying one.

It is free too. I've linked the download below for anybody looking for a jp8000 emulator.

rebirth emulating 303, 808 and 909. good but lacks dirt and personality.

I really used to fancy the Pro53 by Native Instruments. Also like the Synth1 freeware synth a lot - quality.

I love it! Rebirth has a sound of its own!
If you want dirt rewire it to Reason or your DAW and add some fx!

i know, donne it couple of times and while it really sounds rocking i really hate having to step sequence in rebirth while doing normally sequencing at the same time in Reason. If u choose to make your track 8 bars longer ur truly fucked in Rebirth so i just render loops in Rebirth instead and puts them into NN19 sampler in Reason. Works just as good or maybe even better. Ive also tried exporting only one C-hit from the 303 with wide open filters and importing it to the sampler in Reason but as ur lacking accent and that awesome filter in 303 it just wont be the same. Imagine the 303 from rebirth as a VST being able to play midis. Would be awesome. And the 909 too, oh well redrum is good enough

Maybe this can help you program your 303!
