Are there places I should stop on the way, along I80? What to do in San Fransisco?

The recently renovated and re-opened California Academy of Sciences has been a major point of attraction for both residents and tourists alike; and for good reason.

They very much did with the overwhelming scent of '80's that plagued it. Only problem is, it costs quite a bit to get in, although I believe it's free the third Wednesday of every month.

Yeah, I know this is consistent with a tourist guide recommendation, but it really is bad ass.

Also, if you find yourself on the corner of Fell and Laguna, stop in for some fiiiine Mediterranean Food; I'll give you the TA hookup (3.2% off the standard price for extras on side items before 3:30 PM on every second Tuesday every other month, not including Holidays and days preceding holidays in which there is an existing holiday 'vibe.').

Yeah, dude. In this economy that's a hell of a bargain. Better cut back so you can make some sort of profit.

Yeah, seriously. I look at 3.2%, and the absurd frequency in which it's doled out (come on, that's twelve Tuesdays a year!), and I just see money flying out the window.
