so my boss just asked me if i would be cool with going to jamaica for a month to manage a design project for a new roundabout......

like there was even a possibility that i would say no?

jamaica is not what i would term 'nice'.

it's got character and some natural beauty, but a lot of ugly commercial and tourist shit all over it.

i guess you can say that about other islands like puerto rico too, but i much prefer the beaches/scenery in puerto rico (esp near aguadilla, vieques, and culebra) and the culture as well. maybe that's because i always stayed with my ex's family though.

jamaica has the highest murder rate in the area. Even higher than in haiti. One cop is killed there almost every week. Have fun
