there is a offer from steam powered games, just letting everyone know about it(not sure if it has been posted already).

if you have nvidia, or ati you can get 3 free games. Halflife 2 deathmatch(online play). Hl2 lost coast and portal. about 50$ value , for free is pretty good that and, you can play online via deathmatch with some friends if you got the time.

Lost Coast and Portal are really only brief demos..not full games. Still, can't beat free.
