Yep and also to the cheese sponsors for the show!

He wouldn't have been so exposed as he is today if his music wasn't pirated.

I think Armin has exposed himself enough.

There's a god damn preview bar where you simply click the play button. So no summary for you, lazy prick.

Without ASOT being aired on the internet and his old livesets being spread through Napster, Audiogalaxy etc, he wouldn't be where he is nowadays

Which is too popular and an idol for 14 year old kids unfortunately.

To his credit Armin made a name for himself doing a weekly show FOR FREE. For years, Armin wasnt getting paid to broadcast A State Of Trance, and even though there were many other Trance weekly shows available on the radio and many monthly show online it was his show that became a favorite with Trance fans. Forums like TranceAddict helped spread the word about the show.
His remixes and productions also helped propel him to the top - his early productions in the late 90s were played by Sasha & Digweed, Oakenfold, Nick Warren, Judge Jules, pretty much all the big UK DJs.
Early this decade some of his production highlights was "The Sound of Goodbye" under his Perpetuous Dreamer guise, and remixes like "Viola" by Moogwai and Yahel's "Devotion".

That song, clearly, could have used more Super Saw and the video is intolerably obvious.

You know, DJs are supposed to get better with time, not only technically but also their track selection since as you get older your taste should mature as well. Armin manages to do the exact opposite, his taste in music equals that of a 15 year old right now. I can't wait til' he starts spinning nursery rhymes dressed in a purple dinosaur suit.

EDIT: Epic lulz in that video @ 3:34.

Posted by wing on Apr-19-2009 04:16:

he changed his sound/playlist for the mass

You know I avoided hearing that song ever since it came out. And now you've wrecked it.

I'm not sure whether I should be glad or disappointed that I was right about how bad it was.
