4 Channel mixer, which faders do you use??

Just curious really. It's kind of like your "Which way do you keep your knives, spoons and forks in your kitchen drawer" question.

If you have 4 faders do you use Fader 1+2, or 2+3, or 1+4?

I'm bored (same can be applied to 3 channel, 1+3 or 1+2... etc.. but i'll only put options up for 4 channel mixer.

CH3 Line2 - DN-1800F
CH4 Phono - 1200
CH4 Line - External (eg. ipods and such)

I use the same order the equipment is in on my desk, so it varies. Right now it's 1+3 for turntables and 4 for my CDJ.

1 and 4 for my TTs and Traktor Scratch's vinyl controlled outputs. 2 and 3 for the two additional outputs of Traktor Scratch Pro (still haven't upgraded though).

try to match the channels on the mixer to the physical layout. Cos the cdj's are up above and a bit wider they get a/b in traktor and 1/4 on the mixer. tt's get c/d and 2/3. when it was just tt's still used 2/3.

Interesting... varied as i expected it to be but interesting how people lay them out. I use the 1+4 layout as this seems most instinctive to me. Not sure how'd i'd lay them out if i were to use the 3rd and 4th deck in TSP..
