Where is Techno?

Hi everyone, after much disappointment with rave.ca, I've decided to post here something that may interest you. As some of you may have noticed, the techno/progressive house scene in Montreal is pretty much dead right now. I am building a night with a line up that I wish will be made up of dj's voted from the public. So therefore, please send me a PM with your favorite LOCAL techno dj. The selection criteria is based on the most votes; gets the best spot. We have 4 slots to fill. Event will be held in May but the location has not been disclosed yet. cheers

progressive house is dead, deal with it. It is music for boring white people from the suburbs.

the techno scene is dead in montreal? Sorry but you fail.

There are tons of guys playing it, mutek coming up, piknik season, igloofest..and more and more and more.

You need to stop going to church basement raves with kids waering kanye west glasses and sucking pacifiers and open your eyes.

that's why I want locals, the people in the community implicating themselves. People in Montreal are not so keen in paying for underground raves including locals, so free is the way to go.

That sounds like a hilarious way to reveal the absurdity of the djmag top 100 poll. I think a campaign should be started once voting time rolls around.
