you know something... a Member Of TrancEaddict told me last night that i caught him on a picture... i was in the front watching PVD and i said to myself: let me put my camera up and take a few pics of the crowd. i did. then last night.. i sent them to DrXXXX.. he told me: man... im on that picture and i was like: "WTF" hehehee... the world is little huh?

Whenever I hear you American's complain about a lack of party's again, I'll whoop you're ass! You may not have as much raves over there, as we do in Holland, but these pic's prove that at least Ultra means quality.

Especially the outdoor pic's made me drool. When I saw the palmtrees I was like: FUCK, why can't we have it like that! The only outdoor event in Holland is DanceVally (at least I don't think there are other outdoor party's in Holland?), and for sure you won't find palmtrees and stuff there.

These pics are awesome! Bet y'all had a great time!

dood... the management fucked up this party so bad it's not even funny...

here is my list of stuff to complain about
Where the hell to begin....
I had a fun trip to miami, but the party itself was just sooooo poorly managed.
I think most of the kidz and etc had fun (cept for the $5.00 water and it's the
same kind we get for $2.00 here in TX kids), but I just kept noticing mistake
after mistake by the management because of lack of planning.

top 3 annoyances
1. There is no fucking reason why the stage manager and his 25 (literally)
friends should be on stage, dancing, chatting, unplugging equipment, and
bumping the turn tables WHILE a DJ is spinning. The music stopped two times
during oakenfolds set and two times during PVD's set because some one either
accidently unplugged the tables or bumped them causing a VERY noticible skip
and thus annoying the living hell out of the DJ (you should have seen how
pissed oakenfold got. He was >><< close from walking off stage).

2. Spare turntables: What do DJ's need to spin? two turn tables, a mixer and a
shit load of amps and speakers right? What happens if some one from the company
who is setting up the sound stage plugs in your nice technique 1200 into 220V
slot when it should be 110V? You guessed it, fried the living shit out of the
tables and thus Gatecrasher Stage was delayed getting started for 3.5 HOURS
because they had no spare turntables.

3. Non-Existant VIP areas: People paid a premium of 125 (normal tix 50 already)
and got nothing. No free water, No free food, No area JUST for VIP, No T-shirt,
no nothing!

go check them out if you are intrested, but don't let them fool you into thinking that this was a great party. Might have been for the avg. raver but production wise, these people fucked up royaly.

Not to mention that these head liners that we on the list didn't even spin which include

Tiesto
Carl Cox
Pete Tong
LTJ Bukem
Dimitri from Holland
Sasha
Kimball Collins
DJ Dan
DJ X-Dream
Micro
Donald Glaude

I'm sure there were more but I was too damn busy running around trying to cover all the stages.

First off, nice pics. Even though I was not there, I understand what you are talking about....but you have to look at all the responsiblities that the promoters had to deal with. I'm not making excuses for them, but you can't expect a HUGE party like that to go off with no glitch's. I work for a production company out of Niagara Falls....even our little parties (1000 peeps) can get outta hand some times. There are sooooooooo many factors that can come outta nowhere and throw off everything.

That is a big list of talent that didn't show though...ouch. And as far as no special treatment for vip, I would email the promoters and try to get some compensation.

Ok, a few 'glitches' are exceptable but these were no little glitches! I totally agree that this production was sloppy as all get out. I had to wait in line for 2 hours to get the tickets that I had bought online because they didn't even have a tent set up an hour after the doors opened when people who were buying them at the door got in way before I did and I was at the front of the ticket line. There were way too many people standing behind the djs and shit just kept happening. This event was so unorganized but it didn't prevent me from having an awesome time.

Minor glitches are to be expected but a good management would be able to fix that with out the crowd knowing.
having the music STOP for TEN SECONDS on the MAIN stage because some idiot on stage, who is NOT supposed to be there in the first place, bump the turn tables and unplugs them; I'm sorry but that doesn't consitute as a small glitch. Nor does blowing up turn tables and not having spares where one of the MAIN stages is down for 3.5 HOURS is accetable either.

I know how good productions are supposed to run because I see how TX promoters run stuff and they have never had anything like that happen around here. D' Vox took on more they could handle and the screwed it up royally simple as that.

As far as the VIP goes, I felt sorry for the people who did pay for that. I managed to "work" for my entrance so that wasn't a problem for me.

Glad yall like the picts. make sure to check out the web sites after every weekend for more picts and etc.
