Has anyone ever been to Egypt or Paris, France?
I'm going Monday (4/20) to Sunday. Going to Cairo, Egypt for the week, other cities include Sharm El Sheik and possibly Alexandria.
Got a 1/2 day layover on the way back in Paris. Any reccomendations?
Thanks!
go to pacha at sharm el sheik. its AMAZING
There's a ton of stuff to see in Paris just be aware it takes about 45 mins to an hr by train to get from Charles du Gaulle airport to the city. I'd suggest heading to the city and checking out the Eiffel Tower. Grab a bottle of wine from any grocer on the way.
The metro is easy to figure out as well. Have fun! There's plenty to see around the tower too. You don't even have to go up there to appreciate it.
I spent about a week in Paris and some of the best time I had was just wandering around, looking at stuff
You know,
Coincidentally Bas and Clovise are from Egypt and France. I wonder if they would honor me with some words.
Don't drink the water.

Cairo rules. Definitely do the sight seeing. It's touristy but it's amazing. Do as much as you can, Valley of the Kings, Luxor, the Sphinx, the pyramids. It's all amazing.
Unfortunately most of my visits to Egypt involve family stuff so I can't be of much help

Trying to figure out what I should do except take a pic by the Eiffel Tower + a couple hours.
Dang, they worked you over there... thats kinda weak on their end... Anyways, take a cab down to the Champs-lyses from the airport (50$ each way but worth it) and walk around the Eiffle tower/river area... The architecture is beautiful.... they have this cool garden infront of the louve where all the couples get all sappy and lovey-dovey too... then bounce on back to the US... thats exactly what I did
paris - figure out the bus system, for $2 u can take one from the airport, it will drop you off right at the arc of triumph. you can see the eiffel tower and the champs from right there in about 10-15 walk
