coachella reviews?
have to say that this was one of the best coachellas ever. so many great moments on the main stage from the cure, yeah yeah yeahs to the killers and so much more.
the night was best, lots of fire art and neon and interesting stuff to look at. spent a lot of time wondering around from stage to stage.
got some vip wristbands from a friend and spent some time drinking in there and watching the main stage. caught up with a lot of old friends.
sahara tent was good but couldnt understand why they put so many non dance (rock) acts on in there, it was kinda all over the the place musically but best moments were mstkrft and christopher lawrence.
the band before christopher was bad beyond belief and it cleared the crowd out, but when chris came on it got packed and he fucking rocked it. the live show he did at the end with the girl singing was cool too, never seen him do anything like that before. like Ive said before, I'd go just to see chris play a stage like that.
etienne did a cool visual show with the cube.
overall a great couple of days, see ya next year.
i only went saturday, i thought it was pretty sweet overall and i had the most fun ever out of my coachella experiences (i was rolling for the first time in a long ass time), but comparing it to last year, the djs and bands that came last year were better than this years. the sahara tent was pretty cracking the whole time i had a blast during all the djs.
Zane Lowe played some sick ass shit, never heard of the guy, i thought his mixing was pretty eh but he played this one song that was off the hook, i can't wait till i find it
Beetroots and Crookers i felt were just playing sick music, but their mixing is pretty eh too, nothing tooo amazing.
i dont remember chem bros and mstrkrft that much except for i think chem bros were playing some nice techno
thievery i wanted to see more of but only got to see a glimpse of and it seemed like they were doing fricken amazing, wish i stayed for that.
overall, i had a realllly good time that nite, music was chilin.
I just got home driving back from the condo in Palm Desert, so I need to decompress and celebrate April 20.
I'll type up something this week, and have some pictures up later.

Best Between Song Banter: Morrissey, a strict vegetarian, on sniffing the BBQ wafting across the polo field, spat at the crowd, "I can smell burning flesh ... and I hope to God it's human." **
**EDITOR'S NOTE: The original version of this post incorrectly quoted Morrissey's "human flesh" rant. Since we firmly hope that this quote someday lands in Bartlett's, we've confirmed that the above corrected version is indeed what he said.
