female singer/songwriter seeking dj's & producers

Hi, I'm a female singer/songwriter and I'm looking to collaborate or have my songs remixed with producers who are interested in the chill/ambient genres. I'd also love for DJ's who are interested in my music to play my tracks at clubs, parties etc.... Check out myspace.com/michelejusko or michelejusko.com

"FREE FREE" is the track that fits best for the above genre.

Some of my music highlights My song "Beautiful Neurosis" was on the CBS series "Shark" starring James Woods. My song Dont Run Away was just placed in the new Lifetime series Blonde Charity Mafia. My song Walk Away will be featured in the soon to be released indie film "Unhook the Stars" starring Barbara Hershey and was also a runner up in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. At the end of 2008, I was the "Staff Pick" out of thousands of unsigned artists for Clear Channel New Music and was a featured artist on Billy Zero's "Radar Report" on XM Satellite Radio.

Thanks!

Michele

I'm interested, but not sure if I really want to compete with everyone else here . Very nice TV and Film resume you have. I produce progressive house and trance, no chill/ambient. I'm always up for a vocal remix.

You're a decent enough singer so I think you're best off contacting some of your favorite dance/trance artists yourself.

If you want some good remixes, I suggest you upload the vocals for one of your tracks here and let everyone have a try. Pick the ones you like the best for release.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm new to this site. A friend recommended it to me. I'm not sure how to upload my song here. If you do please let me know. Have a great weekend! Michele

or at the very least check out some of the producers posting material in the promotion section.

And look at signatures and profiles for links to their work.

I'd love to do a remix of Free Free. The style of the song already lends itself quite nicely to a downtempo mix of it. If you put up an acapella somewhere, let me know.

She has a nice voice but isn't using it anywhere near her full potential.
If she submits a vocal line I say we all mix it and she chooses who she wants to work on a real track with.

Only cause I know I'll own all of you. =]

I don't think it's a good idea for her to post vocal tracks for public download. Some unscrupulous producer might use them without permission. Maybe a lower quality MP3 or something, perhaps 96k. Then if you get the gig, she can send the wavefiles.

I'm not sure if free free would lend well to a Trance or proggy House track, in my mind at least. I'd give it a shot though.

Yeh, but if the track gets big enough for someone to bother ripping off, then one of the people she's sent it to could easily leak it and people could go from there. An unscrupulous producer won't get a release anyway... can always demand they cease and desist. And it raises her profile anyway. She can't really lose in the end.
