Shivlink Records presents - "z - Images" Digital EP!
The highly talented artists Alpha and Antagon present the first release of Z. The EP �Images�showcases three tracks which exemplify the diversity of their project. The first track �All Consuming Fire� is a remix of a track by the famous �New Model Army�of UK. The remix was amongst the top ten tracks in a competition hosted by the worlds most famous psychedelic trance medium - Mushroom Magazine. Conserving the original chorus, the artists introduced a dark groove to it, breaking the evident barrier between melodic and dark psytrance. The second track �Kumbayah� reminiscences the hippy culture of the 70�s and paints a new perspective on the old hippy attitude by incorporating dark, new age electronic sounds. The final track features the famous artist Ocelot. The ideas of Ocelot and Z melted into a single psychedelic mode resulted in �Plumpf�. Once again, this track strays from the usual formula that most trance music of today is based on.
