Nashville, or DJs spots close

I apologize in advance for putting this thread on this particular forum, I wasn't sure where else I would be able to find out.

I moved close to Nashville a few weeks ago, just wanted to introduce myself and see if there were other TAs in the area. I don't know anyone here who listens to trance etc, or any locations close by where good DJs would play at. So, I wanted to see if there were people who were into the music in this area. My gf can't stand trance and if I wanted to go to Chi or Atl, going alone just doesn't seem appealing.

I dont think you have regular dance clubs in nashville but you do have paul van dyk coming in june at least you have some kind of luck. see link below. and you are posting in the correct forum. Welcome to trance addict

Hopefully you can make it to the PvD show. I'll be opening the night up and it would be great to see some TAs out.

There is plenty to do in Nashville as far as events go. However you're probably not going to find a true dance club, unless you go to Play. It is a gay club with mostly commercial dance music.

Dave Dresden is playing this Friday night at a club Called Mai.

http://www.12thandporterlive.com has a weekly Friday night electro party which will soon be hosted by Ultimo.

If you're into the minimal/techno sound myself and some friends throw a party called Berlin. We've got Perc coming up in a few weeks at Juice Bar. Search this forum for more info.

The Kingfunk crew does the house thing. Keep your eyes open for their events.

There is also Tea Dance the 1st Sunday of the month on the rooftop of Aerial downtown and Delicious @ Blue Bar the first Sunday night of the month. Both parties are usually deep/funky house.

There is also tons going on in Clarksville. I believe they have DJ Shortee, Frankie Bones, and Jen Lasher coming up.
