Alan Braxe / artists (A) Real Name: Alain Qume Profile: Alain Qume first jumped on to the scene with "Vertigo", released under Thomas Bangalters label Roul. His alias (Alan Braxe) is an homage to his home town in France. Along with Thomas Bangalter and Benjamin Diamond, Alain produced the biggest dance track in electronic musics history. Stardusts "Music Sounds Better with You" was an instant hit, and they made a music video to go along with it. If you watched music networks at all in 1998 or 1999, you would have seen it several times a week. He is the cousin of DJ Falcon (Stephane Qume) and Quartet (Delphine Qume). |
I had a copy of Curtomised by Quartet for ages, and I only found out about six months ago that it was by Delphine Qume. I shocked, but I love those little discoveries.

french house is pepe bradock, early daft punk, nicolas chaix, dj deep, st germain, franck roger etc

| This has about as much to do with house as Rihanna does with hip-hop. |
Been a fan of both Kris Menace and Lifelike for years now. They both sort of went downhill for a bit but I dig their latest stuff.
i don't mind the cheesy commercial french stuff. it makes me feel good and that's all that matters.

hookers dont steal your vinyls and make them sound cool again
Nicholas Chaix always cracks me up. Sounds like Nick Lechey
Sidenote: Had no idea that Pepe Bradock was French, neat.
vertigo
I love French House. So similar with disco.
Together (Thomas Bangalter & DJ Falcon) - So Much Love To Give and Stardust - Music Sounds Better With You are my favorites.
EDIT: Wait, I realized these aren't french house.
say what! what made you realize that those quintessential examples aren't french house
