Game Shows

So I'm arriving in Vegas on Sunday morning for a little getaway. Online I got me a ticket for The Price is Right.

What is the deal with the 4-hour gap between arrival and taping time?
Is it some kind of triage? Can a Canadian like me called up as contestand, I do I get penalized by sitting next to Celine Dion way in the back?

If it is an audition type thing... any tips?

oh yeah... what else is there to do Tuesday April 28th night for a few hours, before I drive myself back out to Vegas?

Yeah I believe there's an audition --

First off, don't wear any clothes with any logos on it or you won't get picked.

Second, you need to act RIDICULOUSLY excited during the audition.

I know some guy who got on there and actually won some stuff.

I can definitely put on my extroverted attention-whore side. Trouble is, I'm vacationing solo, so I will have to pump myself up... maybe chat up some excitement with others waiting in line.

I can do a Dr. Evil impersonation extremely well (I'm contracted with an agency as a look-a-like)... think that would help if I suddenly went into character, and back to normal?
