Heh, last time I bought a song they still made cassette players.

I only turn to beatport when other sources don't have it because beatport is ridiculous expensive, they easily charge 20% extra for a track.

They are expensive.

And the site is slow as hell. I always mess up and hit the back button on Safari, instead of hitting the back button in the portal. It drives me crazy.

I was doing things when you were still in diapers.

Posted by RichieV on Apr-28-2009 03:41:

i'm sure it had alot in common with what i was doing in diapers . Of course in your case i'm sure the origin was your mouth. How old are you ?

A supposition is not an argument and you have to make an argument for it to be adhominem. Are your issues drug related ?

Prices are set by the labels not Beatport.

Why is beatport 45% more expensive (I did the test with gareth emery - time & tide.

1,23 on djdownload, 1,56 + 0,23 tax on beatport.

Posted by Storyteller on Apr-29-2009 08:59:

truth is in the middle. The shops decide on the prices. However given certain specifics the label can put it in a certain price catagory.

I'm not far behind you. I hadn't bought a CD or anything in 15 yrs. I recently bought The Killers new CD, Day and Age, and I downloaded my free bonus track from the Wal-mart website. I grabbed Armin's remix of Human. I listen to DJ sets and internet radio in general, so I don't really need to buy music. I had to have The Killers CD, because I'm a fan after my bro gave me the Sawdust CD for Xmas. I enjoy those Killer's remixes too.

If I was going to buy EDM, I guess I would go to beatport. I like to go to beatport and check out the top 10, in order to try to keep up with the latest music trends. Juno is nice because you can see larger pics of the album art work.

True, and they're great guys too. I'm in contact with them regularly about all sorts of things.

Before I had any contact with them I needed thom to fix some problems with my account and they where on top of it. Great guys.
