Canada day?
**ok swampmonsta, dont flame me for this thread.....**
BUT I am thinking of coming up Canada day, and need to put in my vaca request soon......does anyone know of anything going on that weekend (or is it a weekday from what I recall??)
I know the event section doesnt go up that far in date, so hopefully I can get more info by asking?? have to plan soon, so thanks in advance!
It's a weekday...a Wednesday actually so the parties would be Tuesday night. I know that Lawler and Dubfire are confirmed for the Guv party so far....that's about all I can help ya with.

Kelly...I say YES...b/c if I had to pick ONE weekend to be in Toronto in the summer it would be Canada Day. Due to this, I have already book vacation off, and WILL 100% be in Toronto Canada Day

The weekend before Canada Day will be the end of Pride week so there will be a lot of Pride parties and the parade and street party. It's always a good time whether you are gay or straight or in between.
I also know Richie is suppose to be in Toronto around Canada Day (he's at Piknic on the 28th).

Lawler should be sunrise it appears to be a tradition now.. it is usually a pretty good time.
It has lost a bit of its luster since the first one but there should be a lot of out of towners around that day so it will be a good time.
The Wednesday bit is not much fun but you should have the Friday off for the 4th. Take Tuesday afteroon, Wednesday and Thursday. Then you have a nice extended weekend.
