sorry dude, i dont like to tolerate any music that has been influenced by drugs (i guessed that because of your sweet ass avator on X). besides, its still trance... im ... no fan of... top 10 trance type junk.

Posted by Artest on May-01-2009 02:05:

WOW...SO then what type of trance are you into?? And how can you say my mix was influenced by my avatar?

ok...i'm all for downloading, but find another host. that one makes me disable adblock in order to get to the file. then gives me ads out the ass and pop-ups when i disable adblock. i'm downloading now, but just thought i'd give a comment about the host.

Ill take a listen and ill review. But keep in mind I hate cheesy trance and by looking @ the playlist that's what I'm expecting. As far as technicality is concerned, I'm going to hammer that ass. Die.

soooo what'd you guys think of my mix??

Posted by Matthias on May-08-2009 05:01:

Not bad. Question tho.. what did you do with the first two tracks to make them edits? I haven't yet heard the originals.

Posted by Artest on May-08-2009 09:30:

the first one I took out one of the breaks to give it a more techier feel....Same thing with the other one. I dont really like the break in the middle of the song. I feel as if it gets too mellow, I wanted to try and keep it progressing as if its a building up for the next track.

Thanks for the listen, I appreciate it.

I've done that a few times. Most of my edits I usually add additional percussion or bass synths to beef up the low end of a track, or maybe add an extra synth line of my own to enhance the harmony. Mash-ups frustrate me more and more because even if two tracks have the same key, they may have differing chord structures which makes it sound off.
