Hello! Mixer and Cartridge question

Hi
I need opinion on this mixer.
Vestax PMC-170A

I know cross fader isn't good but i can get new cross fader for 36 EURO i my town.
Is it a good mixer for beginner?
Will this mixer last for 2 years or more?
Can someone tell me good and bad things about this mixer.

And help me choose cartridge.
Stanton 500 al
or
Shure M44 - 7, M44 - G, M35 - S, M35 - X, SC35 - C.

Which one last longer.
(Strong, good sound quality and don't eat vinyl is important to me.)

dude
if u already go with the Vestax...

i say go with the PCV - 275!..
first of all
the PMC - 170A dosen't have the PCV faders which can last up to 2 million fades!!!!
which is amazing
second
the pmc - 170a (nor the pcv 175) have eq in the headphones which really is a big

so i say.. if u already decided on vestax.. just say pcv - 275

that mixer is alright, it does the job, i've used it many time as j-spot has that same one

as for the record needles, i like the shure m447

also the 170(a) doesn't have a level meter for the CUE track which sux. To make a seemless fade you don't just have to beatmatch, but also match the level of the sound(adjust gain controls). So i'd say save up for 275...
If you can't wait, and want to buy 170(a), then yeah, it will last 2+ years.

Yep, i echo what everyone else says.

get the 275, it's WAY better, and not all the much more money.

Thank you all for your opinnion.

If not PCV-170A for 269 Euro

How about this mixers?

OMNITRONICPM-524 PRO "UNIQUE" for 233 Euro

or
Numark DM1002X for 277 Euro

Does this mixers have eq in the headphones?
Will one of this mixers last for 2 years or more?

I'm not sure about the first one, but i wouldn't get it if i were you. Omnitronic is not a respected brand.

the numark, is an OK mixer, i guess. i have never used it myself, but lots of people have it, and it will do the job.

get the numark, or better yet, save up a bit, and get the vextax PCV275. it's way better.
