Nothing to do with it. I had been planning to move to LA the first chance I got for about five years (a few of those expecting to transfer down here to run a team for my old job, which never happened after Yahoo hired all the management that was in on building a team in SoCal and the new team killed all plans like that for awhile)....then I got laid off in December and whala, it was the chance to move down.

i actually like on broadway, but spin took away all the talent
still have yet to go to spin, so i dont know whats wrong(besides overcharging for artists like kaskade, and not offering hosted bar when im in town )

i dont think many of the Dj's would mind getting their full fee for going on at 1145 and club closing at 145...

if i lived in the area, i would have been there for sure to see roger.

let me know when the Christopher Lawrence early bird $10 tickets go up... or if you will be having a guestlist for that price, planning on being in SD 4th of july weekend, as he tore it up at On broadway last year.

Mark farina at envy may 29th presented by spundae
This is like the 4th time this guy has been booked to play(spin for mushroom jazz, not mushroom jazz, peperroni jazz) in SD this year and he is also playing at the pool event on the 31. so 5 times in 5 months, OVERKILL?
guess i was wrong in thinking that spundae coming to sd was a good thing(competition) since they aren't bringing out the heavy hitters...

Mark Farina is always paying in California, prob because it's his home. He's from the Bay Area. He's like a Donald Glaude or DJ Dan. Always on the west coast.

And Mark has a following in the houseworld. A big one. Some of the best parties I've ever been to have been withi him playing. If you don't like it, just don't go. It's easy not to go to something.
