Thanks for that. I picked up Trance ID 1 & 2, on a whim. Even if I just pick up one or two new ways of combining sounds it'll be worth it. It sounds like there are some quality productions in there.

| Originally posted by Stef I've had ID1 for a bit, cant say i was the biggest fan of it mostly because the preview was way too misleading in terms of the quality of it all as a bundle. Though there are some gems there that are definitely worth the price. |

derail, did you get your hands on the trance id combo yet? I'm hoping it doesn't sound too "Anjunabeats" and offers some decent variety in samples and sample types.

Okay, very first impression of Trance ID 2 - only a few of the "songs" were in my style, but I've been going through one of them for a while now, listening to the various parts, trying to get similar sounds happening with my own synths and I've already picked up a few things I'll explore further over the next little while.
It's interesting that ID1 and 2 didn't arrive in the same package - the receipt mentions it, calls it a "Plug-in RebateProduct", with a quantity of 0. Maybe they were temporarily out of stock?
Anyway, ID2 features 30 construction kits and nothing else. If the demo mp3 appeals to you and you'd like to dissect the songs, could be worth picking up.
Will probably be thinking about again at the end of May... not all that hot about purchasing any of the packs now.
The trance id packages sound alright, and certainly knowing that all the vengeance samples originated from them anyways is telling.
More interested in minimal house and techno lately and the packages ueberschall offers for those. Don't know if those get much in the way of decent review tho.
But $50 apiece is definately a steal.
