For Sale: Evolution Uc33 - 150$

Features:

47 assignable MIDI controllers

24 knobs, 9 faders, 14 buttons

33 memory locations

drawbar mode for clasic organ emulators

presets and panel templates for popular software
The UC-33 is the affordable, easy-to-use remote USB controller for any computer music system or MIDI setup. It allows instant and simultaneous control of up to 47 different parametersand with 33 memory locations, changing setups is fast and easy. The powerful Snapshot feature instantly makes all controllers live for real-time, on-the-fly editing, and the unique Control Mute function mutes the output of all controllers, allowing users to position them before tweaking, thereby preventing parameters such as filter cut-off or amplitude levels from jumping abruptly during performance. The unit also features a drawbar mode for the sliders, which greatly enhances the experience of playing virtual instruments such as Native Instruments B4 virtual Hammond organ. Use the UC-33 with a conventional MIDI setup, for live performances, or as a remote control for your existing studio rack. 30 pre-configured presets allow immediate control of the most popular virtual instruments and host applications like Reason, Live, Logic, Cubase SX, Native Instrument's B4 and more.

The unit also ships with 5 colour overlays for the front panel, customized for popular software programs such as Ableton Live, Pro-53, B4 and a general Mixer Channel Strip plus a blank which users can tailor to their personal setup needs.

Why am I selling?

Because I want to upgrade to the NI Maschine!

Mint condition - I bought it a week ago. Comes with USB cable and the 5 different color overlays.

Kinda interrested, but I'm new to all this music production stuff so I need to find if it fits my needs.

That thing is more for Djing, if your gonna produce get a midi keyboard first and than get a controller like that.

Posted by Adam420 on May-04-2009 22:55:

I might wanna get this off you. Did you buy it new?

Posted by Marcus007 on May-05-2009 00:19:

yes a 2 weeks ago from moog audio

it's primarily for djing but it's still entry level for producing

it's a great piece of hardware just not exactly what I need personally... but brand spanking new

first mistake, buying things off of moog.

internet is cheaper like steve says...google.

Posted by Marcus007 on May-05-2009 21:36:

i like moog

i dont mind helping out a quality boutique like that

(p.s: I know you hate Lafleche but come on he's just one of the many guys who work there.

Posted by elFreak on May-05-2009 21:41:

moog has great staff, (lafleche is just as a dj lol)but if i would have bought my gear from them the difference overall in price would reach around 1000$ (for everything i have ever bought of course).

at the end of the day i can't justify doing it. It is an expensive hobby as is.

i always bring in proof that I can get it somewhere else cheaper (including american distributors) and the usually always match that price

I'm talking about expensive equipment there... djm 800, 2 cdj 800, etc

Posted by Marcus007 on May-07-2009 16:18:

yep

saved 500 bucks on my mixer when i bought it

Posted by elFreak on May-07-2009 16:19:

should have saved on your uc 33 too

Posted by Marcus007 on May-07-2009 16:29:

bastard guy

Posted by elFreak on May-07-2009 16:31:

have you tried e bay?

i'm only playing with you man, but when you buy any gear you should always make sure that it suits your needs beforehand.

as soon as you open the box the value plummets like anything else even if you have only used it once.

ebay is your best bet

you don't know how many times i have seen people try to sell shitty denon cdjs and a shitty behringer mixer and get absolutely no interest in it.

low end audio gear has little to no resale value even new.
