Hard trance Recommendations

It's been a really long time since I've listened to this style. I need something banging. I'm not real familiar with the gems of this genre. Something like Mauro Picotto - Iguana (Yoji Biomehanika remix). I'm hitting the gym hard this year lol and I need something real good to pump me up. Anything would be appreciated.

Anything by SHOKK.

One tunes thats been at the forefront of my memory when the word hardtrance comes to mind is...

Alphazone - Rockin (Mat Silver & Tony Burt Remix)

i got a few for you;

by the way i totally agree with above.. cosmic gate is the way to go...also S.H.O.K.K. , simon patterson (dogzilla), P.H.A.T.T. , john o'callaghan, brian kearney,embargo(fargo), nu-nrg, markus schulz...

these should keep u pumped in the gym,, its exactly what keeps me pumped when im liftin

pretty sure bet with nick sentience stuff.

Alphazone - Revelation, Sunrise & Flashback

Taiko - Uno, Dos, Tres, Quatro (Nick Sentience Remix) (Taiko is Huntemann and Bodzin - too funny)

Voodoo & Serano - Blood Is Pumping (Club Mix)

DJ Kim - Jetlag & Get Ready To Exlpode

Hard Trance is pretty shit these days; it's all too similar to Hardstyle, which is awful. The bass lines have all gone from being driving and continuous to focussed around the 4/4 beat, the uplfiting melodies are gone and the kick drums are ridiculously large. May I suggest full-on psy-trance instead, which is what Nick Sentience has switched to?

Albums:

Zen Mechanics - Holy Cities
Burn In Noise - Passing Clouds
Domestic - Art Making Machine
Headroom - Artelligent
Protoculture - Circadians

i dont think you have a good idea of what hard trance is.

most of the guys you listed have done what I call 'harder' trance, which is not what hard trance is

SHOKK, old DJ Scot Project, Alphazone, Vinylgroover, Flutlicht. Some examples of hard trance producers

Also, it's more full-on psy than hard trance, but Panic Attack by Simon Patterson is a tune and a half.

DJ Irish's assorted hardtrance mixes.

Old Kaylab/Reeloop/Oliver Klitzing stuff is suitable;

Although this is a Dumonde mix, this is rather good too;

Huh, well I've never heard of this track but I quite enjoyed it. Thanks for the heads up.

Thank you all for the responses, there's a few really good ones mentioned here that I've got around to. I'll check more of the album and artist recommendations this weekend.

Of course, I forgot you were looking for Hard Trance in general. I recommended Fool's Forest thinking you wanted new hard trance, but anyway... check out the previous post's mentions.

Marcel Woods - Advanced. It's hard-ish.
