Air travel

The industry is in such a shit hole right now, 2 friends just got flights from LAX to Ibiza for $588 round trip each. If you can afford it, travel now!

we've all been over this before; but i still think that the majority of the time you can get good cheap airfare on sites like orbitz, travelocity, expedia VS going thru airlines directly.

lol got roundtrip, nonstop flights to L.A. from Ft. Lauderdale for $5 each way. after taxes it was $41 yeaurrr


oh yea u can only get those deals if you sign up for the "$9 fare club" on spirit airlines. it's not much money to join and totally worth it. we're getting the same deal for our DR tickets only the taxes are over 100 bucks, but still...gonna be $200 roundtrip for BOTH of us to DR...nonstop. that's amazing.

trips to korea and back are, if you look hard enough, about %50 cheaper than a couple years ago.

yea it's pretty ridiculous, people have a hard time believing me when i tell them i got a ticket to LA for $41, nonstop. lol i'm always telling everyone to pay the $9 and sign up. i think they give you 3 months if you pay $9. then after that there's a monthly fee or you can just pay for the year which i did. it was like $70. they charged my account for the yearly one when my 3 months was up because i forgot to cancel. i was about to call them up and say nevermind and get my $70 back, but then i thought fuck it, i can afford that, i'll keep it and hopefully be able to take advantage of it someday. now that i'm jobless, i can

Round trip Chicago to Tokyo is $816 after taxes in the middle of July for two weeks (had to look it up for a friend).

I think I was fucked over on my trip home. Costing my $930 round trip.

i went from chicago to munich in 2003 for $600 round trip + insurance

some ridiculous promotions going on in oz at the moment, i guess bad timing with a couple of new budget airlines starting up now. $200 to tokyo, $50 to NZ, a few domestic specials that are free fare, just pay the taxes.

i was in munich for about 30 days....and it was $600 including the insurance, not additive (my bad for poor explaination)

Best I got were �7 tickets (inc taxes) from Madrid to Edinburgh....... or the �0 (plus taxes) Sky tickets from Edinburgh to Krakow (when it ran).

Quite! On the tickets I've booked over the last few months I've paid around 50% of the price that I did last year for very similar dates of travel and routes.

If you are able to spring for business or first class tickets then even better savings are to be had as premiun cabin travel is well down. British Airways had a 2 for 1 sale going on their cheapest business class tickets just recently. Two business class tickets across the pond for just over $2000. Insanity.

the industry has been like this for a while, i went from NYC to Dubai, Dubai to Mumbai, Mumbai to London, London to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to NYC, the air fare on the whole trip cost me just $1550 beat that! Dates were dec 26th 2008 to january 22nd 2009. i thought it was a really fuckin sweet deal that time, may be i can find something even more cheaper this summer.

I went from chicago to frankfurt for $400 roundtrip in 2003.

i took a trip around the world on shrooms for 50$
