these break-patterns are pure quality, id love to have the know how or intuition to makr stuff like this. i primarily try to make hardcore, but with breaks in there too, but i cant make anything like this

I've never been able to get into him for some reason, but all this sounds just awesome.

yeah its pretty amazing how much details are in his productions, so many little snippets of sound everywhere....

Some of his productions is just pure food for my brain becasue I cant tap my feet that fast

this one just gives me goosebumps - when the snares kicks in my heart flutters!

Yeah, he's one of the better acts on Warp. Hard Normal Daddy and Hello Everything are particularly dear to me, although pretty much everything he had released is awesome, with the exception of Just A Souvenir (I don't know what he was thinking). Too much good tracks to mention, but some of the better ones are Squarepusher Theme, Rustic Raver, Vic Acid, Square Window, Abacus 2, Steinbolt, Planetarium, Paradise Garage... Great programming, great melodies, great bass guitar technique - simply a genious.

a lot of it is just your typical beatsliced amen break

Squarepusher are, along with Autechre, are an act I'm ashamed to say I haven't checked out properly yet. One day I really will just splurge all my cash on their collective discographies, because I've been threatening to do so for a while.

I prefer Aphex and Autechre, but Squarepusher has done some great stuff as well.

yeah i know, what i mean is, when i sit infront of my program and think 'ill try to make a sick break' i just cant conjure up anything that sounds as diverse and wicked as all these little break patterns he has. most of mine just end up sounding pretty much exactly like the amen
