""I've been a huge games freak for years and I am, of course, a music fanatic," said the blonde-haired spinner."

That's funny, because if I dug deep I bet I could find SEVERAL interviews since the day people bothered interviewing him where he says he doesn't play videogames.

Having been in the industry, I look out for questions like that in DJ interviews.

But since I have a wii and I <3 armin, I'm buying this shit for sure!

Has anyone found any other reputable links, because this sounds really really weird.

Guitar Hero and DJ Hero are both ripoffs of Konami games only released in Japan IN THE NINETIES. Guitar Freaks and Beatmania. All a part of the Bemani line of games KOnami had made...

I have always liked Guitar Freaks better because of the crazy awesome songs.

Here's the Bemani line (source: Wikipedia)

1.1 Beatmania
1.2 Beatmania IIDX
1.3 Beatmania III
1.4 Dance Dance Revolution
1.5 Dance Dance Revolution Solo
1.6 Dance Maniax
1.7 Pop'n Music
1.8 Pop'n Stage
1.9 GuitarFreaks & DrumMania
1.10 Keyboardmania
1.11 ParaParaParadise
1.12 Ubeat
1.13 Bemani Pocket

Never could get into the DJ games...

Here's the Beatmania controller (from 1997)

Dave's pic reminds me of the one area they have @ Heneiken factory in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

You push different buttons for different beats. I started playing w/ the buttons and I had a crowd dancing...lollll....

they should just make a serato video game... altho it already kinda is like a wave matching video game...
