yeah seriously. i mean as hes getting bigger hes 'selling out' as much as Tiesto is. (i still think Tiesto is the better producer tho and his shows are more original etc.)

but i guess, Armin *IS* smart about branching out...promoting himself etc. it makes good business sense to do so.

i dont even like his shows that much anymore. I thought his Roseland show would be great, it wasnt anything to write home about

Thats the main reason I tihnk this is terrible. Not only is he selling out, he's selling himself with his garbage music. People associate his terribad ASOT with trance, and thus he's killing the entire genre in my opinion. Most every song he plays on his pathetic radio show is not only terrible but from his label...

Tiesto is 100x better at producing. He uses his Club Life to promote a lot of unknown DJs and producers, which is why I have a lot of respect for him, even if he has "sold out".

well we cant SAY all tracks on his ASOT are terrible, haha...I mean some of our very own NYTAs on his tracklists. and i think we got some awesome ppl on here

And it's not being objected to seeing trance becoming more popular, it's the way the game will make trance perceived by those who aren't familiar with it. It all depends on the game interface and the tracks selected to be in the game. Odds are from reading that all the tracks will be like cheesy Armada vocals. I'm not going to bash the game before i see it, but it will probably be crap from what that article says.

the amount of hate that pours through most of your blood is hilarious. good for armin! hopefully he'll pull through for a 3rd year at #1!

Okay, i will say chances are that this game will blow. Im sure it will feature alot of cheese and stuff, but really... all you haters need to check your fucking lives.

I would rather people know cheesy tracks from Imagine, that they think is trance, than Lady Gaga and all this other bullshit that gets nonstop play on radio stations.

Hip hop and rock are dieing at such a rapid pace, that its about time EDM come to the forefront of the music listeners mind. If you are a true trance fan, you will always know where to find good music, so this shouldnt affect you. If not, then you are a poser anyway. Good for Armin, and his marketing people.

I don't think this is a bad idea, Yeah the game will be horrible, like a bunch of nintendo wii gimmick games, but I think the most important thing is that this game can help spread EDM to more people. It's just another method to help spread the greatest type of music.

you people are a little harsh. so what he's selling out; big fucking deal! How many of you would seriously turn down 500K (or whatever amount he receives) just for having your name on a box and giving some input. It's ridiculous that you people think he's supposed to turn down money so he's not viewed as a 'sell out.' why does he have to support your idea of the 'scene' or what trance is 'supposed' to be? He's a money making machine and everyone should realize that and take it for what it is. Given the chance, each one of you likely would act exactly the same. I know i'd rather park my BMW 745 in the garage of my west end ave condo parking lot than support your idea of a scene. please

Agreed. And for you people who think Tiesto is any less cheesy or arrogant, you are really smoking some good stuff. And all you that hate on ASOT, please tell me what real trance is, when he plays great tracks from trance superstars like Stoneface & Terminal, Mike Koglin, Markus Schulz etc...

Asot sucks and all the tracks he plays blow until he plays a local's track and then it's ok!! He just did a 3 day trance broadcast for 400 with a bunch of different djs, all for the fans and never complains or says anything negative, yet he's an arrogant prick. Insane. Tiesto did the same thing with Armani and I'm sure the same losers hated as well. Some people are just too dumb to see the big picture.

word. to be fair to some of the haters, they don't appear to be the ones giving all the praise when armin plays an ECO track.

the scene is wack. only the people who think Armin is the messaiah are going to buy this and are probably the only ones who attend his shows.

it is time for them to slow the fuk down, buy some rogaine, get botox, and let a new younger generation of trance emerge.

till then - the scene is going to stay horrible and now with horrible gimmicks.

A clothing line is much more useful than a fuking nintendo game.

Please refer to my Asot example and his yearly celebrations where when asked why he has other dj's partake and not just himself all day he responds by saying asot is not about armin its about the music and the fans. I'd love to see you come up with anything other than omg he poses like jesus and thinks he's jesus up there!!!! Nobody that knows him has one bad thing to say about him. But some random fat bulldyke thinks he's an arrogant douchebag because he said yes to putting his face on a video game, the nerve of that fuker!
