Need Help

Hey everyone,

So I'm writing a paper and I need some help. My paper topic is on the parallels between the trance-states experienced in some primitive religions (candomble, vodou, native american religions, Sufi mysticism, etc) and the relationship between those states and music, and the current experiences of individuals in trance-states with modern day music and in the club scene. I'm attempting to leave the drug question largely aside and focus on the relationship between music and these states.

So what I was looking for was just a short description from somebody about what it is like to enter into this type of ecstatic trance-state, discussing the music, inner sensations, feelings of spirituality or anything of that nature. You know as a sort of colorful way of beginning my paper. Looking forward to your responses!

I'm not looking for anybody to write the paper. I'm just looking for a very quick (like four or five lines) about first hand experiences people have had with trance states.

what happened to him? The last thing i heard whas that he is writing his dissertation on that there is small portions of breaks in the earlier trance tracks as well but that he thinks that the Armin stuff from 00 is the best but he also thinks that Armin then went a bit cheesy and blablabla. Kill me
