AT&T U-verse - anyone use it?

https://uverse1.att.com/un/launchAMSS.do

Just got a flyer in the mail stating that it's available in my area. With my own personal package that I built I would be paying nearly the same that I do right now for phone, internet, and tv - but will have 18mb DSL rather than my current 6mb, and will have more channels and some in HD whereas right now I have no HD channels.

That right there is pretty enticing, but I'm sure it's too good to be true somehow.

One constant complaint that I've read is the fact that only one HD channel is viewable at a time per household. Meaning that if a tv in the living room is watching an HD channel, no other tvs in the house can put on another HD channel.

Seeing as how I rarely watch tv in the first place, and also the fact that we're going to only have a handful of HD channels with the plan we're aiming for, this shouldn't be an issue for us. The main concern I have is the DSL.

Just wanted to see if anyone else has personal experience with it to give their reviews. Most of the reviews I find are either outdated or sound like they're house wives that with 1mb DSL they'd be more than satisfied.

only one hd channel live, but you can move the dvr content around anywhere.

u-verse is really good on its own, but it doesn't play well with other systems or remotes. if you aren't rich or smart, it's the bomb.
