LOL, My car has bad luck (previously watch how I get screwed by life again...)

Do you ever feel like the world is against you?

Do you ever feel like how can this random bad thing happen to me out of a billion people?

Do you ever feel like things just can't be going right?

Join me in my misery. lol.

Random bad things happen to me all the time.

I try to square that with the times that random good things have happened, which we all tend to ignore or forget quickly. It tends to even out in the end.

Focus on the good.

lol. i do wonder why it's so hard to focus on the good ever?

If the shitty events that arise are out of your control, then often the best thing is just to take comfort in knowing there was nothing you could have done--it is what it is. There is no reason to frustrate yourself over events which are out of your control to begin with.

Also, I'm inclined to agree with Digi as well. I've always believed in balance. For instance, last week I lost nine-thousand dollars over one e-mail, but this morning I got fantastic news at work. The important thing is not to accentuate or get hung-up on the shitty stuff.

I started to realise a couple of years ago that life really does suck and then you really do die. And maybe death is actually a fucking gift?

I think I'm in between one of my personal happy eras. But going through a breakup and basically getting laid off in these shitty economic times has done a lot to contribute to a low phase, but what would the highs be without the lows to remind you of when you're actually enjoying yourself.

Basically, I took my car in for a 35 dollar emission test and they wrecked the hood and now a 35 dollar thing will cost me 1000s to repair and fight in court.

it's just a bad deal and i can't believe that people would even have in their mind that they can do something to a another person and not give a shit since they have nothing to lose.

yeah, it's true but just for once can i have something that a) i don't have to fight for and b) just works out like it's supposed to.

nothing is ever easy.

Likely because you don't have to. The good things are over and done with... the bad things you usually have to fix.

That really sucks about your car. Sometimes with these shady businesses it's a more effective threat that you'll tell everybody you know and post everywhere you can find about their scam (assuming you're prepared to follow through) - they may not care about a few thousand in damages but they ought to care about hundreds of thousands in lost business. I don't know if you've already tried that.

Ah man, tell me about it. I made an awesome chicken caesar wrap and put it on the George Foreman so it would be all panini'ed out. I was soo stoked to eat this thing, but one of the sides of the tortilla stuck to the grill surface, and now my wrap is all fucked. I have to mash it all into my mouth and shit's slopping everywhere. It's just not the same, man.

edit: no wait, I take it back. It's fucking delicious. Homemade dressing ftw. Plus the cheese is all melted and oozing in between all the chicken. And I put real bacon bits on it.

It may not happen right away, but something good always comes from something bad.

I blame the Portuguese.

lol. But all kidding aside. Seriously shady.

I know a lot of Portuguese people and they are all nice but these people are despicable. The guy actually had his mother throw us out of the shop and yell at me. What kind of customer service is that.

life has screwed you over because the hood of your car was damaged? It's a just a car(part) and it's just money.

you're alive, don't worry about things and just enjoy it while you can!

last yr, my bbq was stolen on the side of my house. 250 pound bbq gone overnight....and i didnt hear a thing...

so today, had a craving, bought the cheapest bbq at canadian tire, wasted 2 hours building it, got drunk while at it....and yet made the best halibut ever. It evens out in the end, im satisfied, my meal was awesome, im dizzy, and its PB finale tonight... then next week is DEMF and its almost summer
