Possible problems with soundcards?

Hey everyone,i wanna ask a question that's been bothering me for a bit:
I have 2 soundcards in my pc,two soundblasters for the matter, an Audigy and a Live one.
I use them both primarily when i play with traktor,and most times i use only the audigy.
Can it be harmful to my system and in what ways?Should i think of getting rid of the older Live one?
Note that i use that one only for my phones,to help in the mixing.
Please help out!

no, you have to remember that the only thing your computer deals in is electrical impulses of 1 and 0. It doesnt differentiate between sound signals. Only differentiates between source like "this is coming from device 133fd4" so no, its fine
