Yeah, I agree with you miss-e, in that I really hope Spain end the game with all 11 men left on the field.

Any word on whether Raul will be fit in time for the game?
That would be a huge blow to them if he can't.

i think Korea as a great chance of beating spain.... in the irland game spain ran out of gas in the end ... and didnt play all that well .... and korea seem to always get stronger in the end... so i think and hope korea beats spain.... but who ever plays better wins ... personaly spain should of lost agaist irland ...but irish couldn kick a damn penilty kick

OMG, only a couple of hours left to the match.
Most of the workers in my company are wearing red shirts and pants and things. Every Korean is ready to party~ Around 500,000 ppl is expected to gather in front of city hall.

*anyway, Chirstopher Lawrence and Paul van dyk will be here in Seoul next weekend~ I can't wait ~

Posted by eLe_vatE on Jun-22-2002 09:30:

Nice one Korea, they deserved to win imo, although the ref was a bit harsh on Spain sometimes
Now Korea, listen carefully, please please please please please please please please please....beat Germany

Posted by breakaholic on Jun-22-2002 09:54:

Spain was very strong, 2 suspicious goals and many close ones. I don't know what to think, I couldn't see the errors but there's going to be lot's of speculations again, not so good.
Well I think Spain would deserve to win this one but gotta respect the Korean mentality, first Portugal, then Italy and now Spain. They have achieved some unbelievable results, Go Korea .

wowo chill,
the calls for Spain were rather decisive,off-sides when there weren't any,and the header by Morientes, search the foul

This is the worst World Cup i've ever seen. First Italy and now Spain was robbed. Who's next ? I hope that Germany will win next match because i can't stand cheating Korea go home. You've reached 1/8 final. 1/4 and 1/2 is just a cheat

Posted by jlosada on Jun-22-2002 12:31:

Congratulations Mister Blatter.

Congratulations, you have what you want. Two king semifinalist, Germany and Brazil, and a rookie that plays at home and guarantees a lot of money for that mafia that you manage and that was the home of all of the soccer players.

FIFA insists on democratize the soccer and has chosen the worst way. It manages its referees like chess pieces to guarantee a globalized and polliticaly correct semifinals. For that, it abuses of people that referees in strange leagues and thet whistle offside in a corner kick in order to travel in business class to the far east.

And, what is the problem now? Why should Spain, Italy, Belgium or Mexico... play the next World Cup? It has no sense, because their work is mortgaged to the FIFA interests.

damn crybabby

goddamn
anyone gonna give korea CREDIT and not jus whine and moan about how the referees were bad??

jesus, the goals they put in, was that cheating to then?

Korea has played a tremendous worldcup , when are you guys gonna say, wow, they played with passion and deserved to win??

I alreday said that but,you must admit that Spain easily could have won today if it wasn't for the referees

WC2002: CRUCIAL REFEREEING MISTAKES I HAVE SEEN! WORST REFEEING EVER!!

BRAZIL VS BELGIUM: Wilmots judged to have fouled before his header into goal! Replay shows absolutely NOTHING!!! NO SLIGHT CONTACT!

SOUTH KOREA VS SPAIN: Five minutes into the second half, Ivan Helguera's header from a free-kick was ruled out for a foul inside the penalty area.

Then an extra-time Fernando Morientes header was chalked off when a linesman flagged because he thought the ball had gone out of play before Joaquin provided the cross. The Ball didnt even go over the FUCKING LINE!!!

Xavier you forgot GERMANY VS US ,the goal made by the US that was rejected,or the refree accords the goal,or he had to give a penalty and at least a yellow card for that German player that stopped the goal with his hand, but none of those two things happened

your wrong cyberia ...even the american judges in the new said it was the right call ..... the rules state that if the ball plays the hand where the player doesnt direct his hand to the ball its fair play ...but if the player directs his hand and plays the ball its a penality .... as for being past the line the judges said it had to pass the whole line for it to be counted as a goal...... so the ruling was right ..even though it would of been a goal if the other guy wasnt there but those are rules that were stated so it was fair play
