These two are quite good are removing malware infections, and I deal with this sort of thing a LOT. For prevention, I recommend AVG 8 Free Edition. Use them all in combination.

Spybot, if left installed and running day to day, can cause its own problems with your system.

Yes to SuperAntispyware and Malwarebytes Antimalware

HiJackthis is great, but records should only be removed by trained techies. Same with Combofix.

I've used SpyBot Search and Destroy along with Ad-Aware for a long time now and haven't run into any problems. Just make sure you do the updates each time you do a scan.

The kind you can sneak past people's anti-spyware programs, and steal their identities and their pr0n. You're going to have to program your worm yourself, and script a good trojan.

another good one is trojan remover (www.simplysup.com). its only a 30 day trial, but its great for a quick clean when malwarebytes cant find anything.
