Sugar or Artificial Sweetner?

I am personally addicted to Diet Coke (nutrasweet) and I prefer that taste to that of natural sugar.

The reason I bring this up is today at work we were making an experimental batch of a pharmaceutical product and the formulation calls for sucrose to cover the bitter taste of the drug.

So I asked why they don't use artificial sweeteners cause I think they taste better and they didn't seem to think there was a market for that.

Anyone agree?

real sugar all the way. and if any of you are using artificial sweetener for health reasons, try honey, brown sugar or maple syrup.

Artifical sweetners for me. The possible long-term health ramifications are a lesser evil to me compared to my quest for trophy like good looks.
