2 things puzzle me about this.

1) How the heck do you 'lose' a plane in mid-air. They're saying possibly a lightening strike.

2) Why can you only narrow down the potential search area to somewhere "3 times the size of Europe".

and they sent out a whole 2 planes to search.

i think Charles Whitmore and Eloise Hawking are involved in this plane crash.

I wonder if the Oceanic 6 are on board the plane?

//

if Lepedius was flying the plane, it wouldn't have crashed.

haha i just said to a friend earlier, they forgot to press the button in the hatch

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Jun-01-2009 14:28:

the survivors should check the flight manifest very carefully in case one of the people in their group was not on the plane. we all know what will happen if they don't account for people who aren't on the flight manifest.

also need to beware of the smoke monster

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Jun-01-2009 14:35:

a guy in a wheelchair who can walk now, a fugitive, a iraqian, some random pregnant austrailian chic, an english rocker, and a cocky doctor were on the plane.

we have to consult with Jacob first to see if it's the right thing to do. Let me go and try to find his house.

Posted by jupiterone on Jun-02-2009 00:37:

it's okay we'll just go to the orchid and shift time backwards, woscar you'll have to be banished from the island though

Posted by woscar on Jun-02-2009 00:47:

OK, I guess it's just a sacrifice that the c0r demands.

I'll just make an alt and come back anyways

Seriously guys, poor taste

If noone survived, it has the potential to be a pretty horrendous way to meet your end; in the middle of the night, a dark, smoke-filled cabin, plummeting to a watery grave. Makes me shudder just thinking about it.

Apparently some pilots spotted flaming wreckage in the ocean, whilst some are saying Airbus didn't use lightening-proof material etc. All speculation, but this kind of thing really affects me, don't know why

These two pieces of information might come as a shock to you, so please brace yourself.

Firstly, there's not someone watching every plane with a magical telescope as it crosses the globe.

Secondly, planes can fly!

clearly Ocean Drive must have time traveled before to try to stop this from happening, but couldn't do it. He has faced the fact that it's destiny, and we can't change the way the present occurs, just the path to the point. But never the conclusion.

No, but at least surely in the 21st century 'some' way of narrowing it down to an area less than THREE TIMES the size of Europe?
