What is shaping up to be the "Track of the Summer"?

Not necessarily what you personally feel is the best track released this summer, but rather what is the track that everyone is playing? For example, summer 2006 while traveling, I heard Bob Sinclair's "World Hold On" everywhere from the beaches of Mykonos (10xs a day) to clubs in Shanghai. The year before, I feel like Supermode "Tell Me Why" was everywhere. Whenever I hear those songs, I associate them with those summers.

Busy days at work have limited my club nights and travel so far this year, but I'm curious as to what is shaping up to the this Summer's tune?

probably summertime or la mezcla

I really don't get it. La Mezcla is so dull and forgetable.

LOL, far from it

I know everyone has an opinion and bla, bla, bla...but to call La Mezcla "bland and forgettable" is pretty stupid.

regarding la mezcla:

I can't believe people are labeling some nice drums and a flute loop as a summer anthem. What the hell is wrong you all. If the scene ever dies I'll come back and revive this thread. It will be the point where it all went wrong

ehhhh Woscar, no I'm sorry. If someone doesn't like it, they don't like it. That track is not god's gift to the world, catchy and a great track for those of us into this stuff, yeah I'll give it that.

nah man you missed it when DJ so and so played it and the crowd was gently swaying back to side and ocassionally moving their feet. It was so intense lol. Yea wish I was there staring at the dj with you all for 10 hours straight doing the truffle shuffle

The only thing that's MAYBE anthem worthy this year so far is Jamie Jones - Summertime but the only reason I'm saying that is because its above average and nothing outstanding has come out that is better than it from a purely summertime anthem standpoint

Last year it was Ralph Falcon - The Dig (original or radio slave mix, take ur pick)...there's nothing in 2009 that is as good as The Dig thus far.

did i say that?

i just find this discussion hilarious.

most summer anthems are the most cringe worthy tracks ever. Remember a little diddy called Heater?

I like la mezcla and have played it, empty tracks like this make for great tools, and i think i did a prety good job with it according to the feedback i got

also that jamie jones track is awesome but only the dub, because ost and kjex need to shut the fuck up.
