For those of you in Vegas this Sat nite - Christopher Lawrence & DJ Dan at Perfecto?

In Vegas for my best friends bachelor weekend, thinking of checking out Christopher Lawrence and DJ Dan at Perfecto at the Palms.

I've heard good things but was wondering if anyone can confirm it's a good night there?

Generally Rain sucks as a club...put yourself on the list at n9ne if you want, but CL isn't enough to draw me over to the Palms/Rain

Yes this is well worth your time. The night is absolutely amazing and with Dan and Lawrence it stands to be an amazing night. Here is a few photos of when Above & Beyond played a few months back. I can get you on the guest list as well if you like. My contact info is in my sig.

yeah I dont mean anything negative to the artists or promoters involved, it's just the layout of Rain that bugs me - nowhere to dance and the center-raised dance floor thing is in the middle and in the way. And DJ is up high on the stage with hardly any room in front. And the upstairs areas totally roped off...ah I miss Ice. Well I am sure this has all been said before...I did put myself on the n9ne lists though, there isnt much else going on EDM-wise, true (just line pass for me, wife gets in free)...

hey man, I hear ya. there's a few clubs I try to avoid cos of bad sound or layout. that being said, if I know the djs are gonna rock it, I'll usually make an exception.

While I may not be a big fan of Rain at all times Perfecto is the best party in Vegas right now.

Jordan hooked me up a few months back (thanks again!! ) and it was really good.

I've seen oakenfold DJ since about '96 and I have to say he played very well indeed the night I was there. Rain was a decent club too - really like the raised balconies to get started - the dancefloor can get a bit packed but there's plenty of places to find space and I have to say the people I met were really friendly.

Definately worth going to if you're in vagas IMO.

CL is in demand worldwide at the moment, and is pushing out some great tunes. Probably the biggest trance dj still pumping out an underground sound.

Rain as a club is amazing, but the upgrade that is done by perfecto on saturdays places it among the best clubbing experiences around. That comes from one who has done Miami & Ibiza in the past 12 months. Although I may not be a fan of most of the talent that is booked there, the clubbing experience is 2nd to none in las vegas at the moment

I agree. Much better than standard club nights at any other vegas club i have been.

Yeah my friend who is a local said the same thing to me this weekend. We weren't able to make it, but I'll give it a shot next time I'm in town.

When was the last time you were there?? The dance floor is not raised anymore and there is lots of room to dance.. They remodeled it. It is one of the best clubs in Vegas.

well as you know I was out of the country for a while, but the last time was for Tiesto. It was the same night Halliwell played at Ice. (Went to Tiesto first, then over to Ice).

Was something like 2 yrs ago I guess...

ohh ok yea they totally remodeled it I was there too for Tiesto was pretty good

well I guess I stand totally corrected. I heard they keep the pool area opened too. Well I'll be back groveling for guest list on my next trip...when do these nights end this summer? do they keep going indefinitely?
