Dubfire

His live sets are awesome.

Posted by LoveHate on Jun-06-2009 05:20:

cool.

Posted by DOOMBOT on Jun-06-2009 05:20:

He would also be a great opener for John Digweed.

If I want to hear a woodblock and white noise for 3 hours I'll go sit in a special education classroom.

Scary, isn't it?

he is so undeground that being good is too mainstream for him.

I guess simply sucking might be a reliable way to stay underground. Although certainly it's no guarantee.

I hated Dubfire when he couldn't release his unreleased remix of Space Bird, crap for the public, epic for the chosen ones.

Couldn't or wouldn't? That was such a mint tune, I ripped it from the S&D Bonnaroo set and hammered it for several months. Whatever happened to it?

Posted by idoru on Jun-07-2009 01:27:

No.

wow...you must be kidding. have you heard anything he's released in the last year or seen him play live? him and digweed don't belong in the same club/venue together on the same night let alone opening for him...deep dish is dead, so quit thinking dubfire is still rocking that style....

The only time I heard that Spacebird remix was during Digweed's 2 hour EM (2007) on BBC.

My bad, I had the two mixed up.

I had the pleasure to hear it on a big system, Diggers played it a short while after that EM. I was so hoping he'd play it.. and he did

I still want to have it badly. If anyone has it, you can PM me
