Band Of Brothers.

I had seen it before, but they had a marathon on the history channel for the 65th anniversary of the D Day invasion of Normandy, and i watched the whole thing back to back. Possibly one of the best mini series of all time, and if HBO had a penis i would probably suck it.

appreciate or you are a nazi.

I love it. Much better then Saving private Ryan

you should check out generation kill also. not nearly enough violence, but still a pretty good series examining the iraq invasion.

Posted by elFreak on Jun-08-2009 09:26:

yeah it was good too.

i am not about pure violence, but really like to get into a personalized view of historical events, especially when it is done in such an engrossing manner.

pretty funny, considering that i am not a steven spielberg fan at all.

well, neither am i really, but when it comes to a film or series about war, i do love the aesthetics of huge battle scenes and shit hitting the fan left right and centre.

yeah ok, i spose i do love the violence!

That sounds delicious! Damn.

I adore Band of Brothers. The only slight point of criticism is the fact that they casted David Schwimmer.. I couldn't help but see Ross Geller as a war captain, which was a tad weird

Apart from that, this series is pure bliss.

Yeah, I got round to watching this a couple of years ago and I really enjoyed it .

Having David Schwimmer in it was a bit weird, but I thought he did a good job.

Posted by elFreak on Jun-08-2009 11:57:

not as weird as jimmy fallon, but thank fuck that lasts only like 2 seconds.

hi ho silver lol.

They need to make one about the Vietnam War.
