Mixin...your style?

For all you DJs out there, i want to hear how you mix, exactly, in detail, try your best might be fun , cdj's, record, or whatever? (but personally i dont rate laptops)

I copypaste Clovis' chart from the monthly threads here on TA, then line them up with Media Player and watch the magic happen.

Also, practicing various poses and hand-gestures are essential to my performance.

i use traktor & mp3s. I don't take it seriously and when I post a set up am happy if I help just one person find a new track or style they didn't know before. Play everything from trance, techno, old house, breaks, jungle, psy etc

throw some fruit in there - anything from lime, lemon, even orange.

a couple of slices.

... i guess i don't like to mix much more than that.

OK, I'll be the first to answer.

3 CDJs and a Xone:92 mixer FTW....

Techno, tech-house, minimal. I'll mix between these three in any given set. Long, drawn-out transitions of 2:30-4:00 each, a little shorter for "housier" sets. I try to leave my EQs at 0, though that may vary slightly by the track.

SO 'bout this time I'm sayin I need some girl going "whoooo" or singing something so I pick a choon wit dat and hit tha big SYNC button werd coz its in KEY ya dig, fiddle da knobs move that fader and !bing rocking! fer tricks I turn on the beat/bit masher noise thing and let it hang and people go huh? and then I bring it back all smooth and sexy like so plp be vibin' I do this till im drunk or passed out or someone tells me to step off it and play wit da ladies...

That reminds me of this add that used to be on tv over here. Can't remember exactly what the add was for but it showed this guy DJing and scratching with his nipples.
