Synth Programming
Hi-
Does someone know where I can find synth programming sites or tutorials?
I'm also looking for other synth related sites.
Thanks
Ben
hmm.. what exactly do you mean when u say synth programming? and are you talking about hardware or software synhts?
There isn't any difference b/w the two...
I mean creating sounds with synth programming, and it doesn't matter if it's for hardware or software synths, because there no difference between them like Michael Russo said.
Thanks for the help.
creativesynth.com

Basicly, Hardware is still a lot better than software, people keep on asking how they make those warm sounds? Get a hardware Va or Analogue synth
, you'll go way further than fruityloops and other crap, reason and reaktor can sound good if you know about programming but still.. If you want to learn bout synthesising I think the wet dream is the jp8000, one knob/funcion design
If you don't have the money go for a 2nd hand an1x. These are both very powerfull synths that can create all analogue sounds you are after to make those trancy leads.
Thanks Peter!
if you ask me I'D...go play with it and you'll learn and never forget...that's how I made it...of course after that someone came and told me the functions but I already knew everything...so you can make it too...if you really want to

Thanks DJ Ahter. I've started analyzing some patches now, and it really is helpfull. I also decided to order an synth programming book. People who are intrested in such kind of books can take a look at www.amazon.com and www.barnesandnoble.com. They also have other audio related books wich you might like, like books about mixing, recording, etc.
