SKILLS DJ WORKSHOP-Store Front Closing

http://www.skillsdj.com/storesale

Skills Dj Workshop, the record store, will be closing our doors on July 26TH, 2009.

After 10 long years of staying in business, we've decided to close the Skills storefront and focus solely on our events and music production.

Wed like to thank everyone for their continued support of our events, music, Dj's and your love and dedication to the bay area electronic music scene. We would not be here without you. MUCH LOVE from all of us at Skills and we'll see you at our next event.

With that said, we are having a 50% off sale on all merchandise beginning June 4th. We will also be selling off a wide variety of music production gear, DJ equipment and other misc electronics. For full details please stop by the shop or email Tim (at) SkillsDJ (dot) com.

You can also stay in touch by following "Skills" on Twitter.

Warm Regards,
THE SKILLS FAMILY
Tim, Mirinda & Jason

Sorry to hear about it, I've shopped there often myself.

Guess that's the way it goes with labels going all digital these days.

that's another option and a great tool too
digital is lite and fast, but I still love the sound of vinyl. It has a warmth feel to its sound.
Gotta visit the workshop one last time.

I remember stepping in countless times in the past with friends to pick up vinyl and choons. They always had good stuff on hand and stuff we could get at discount.

Ill definitely be steppin in to say goodbye and pick up some items.

Lookin to the future Skills!

Thomas Ill go with ya next weekend if you down.

Unfortunate news. Digital changed the industry as we know it. 10 years is an impressive run tho! Wish I had an opportunity to check out the shop before they closed....

I remember when reverb closed in SF, was super bummed about that too cause I got a lot of my first vinyls there.
