New SF Love event site is up (with new name!)

Hey Lovely People,

Our new website for the event formerly known as Love Parade San Francisco - and then San Francisco LoveFest - and now San Francisco LovEvolution is LIVE.

Thanks to all those that voted and continue to support one of the greatest days for EDM music anywhere.

"The organizers of San Francisco Love Parade & San Francisco LoveFest are pleased to announce the evolution of America's biggest dance music event : LovEvolution. An event born of the original Love Parade event in Berlin now carried over into going on 6 years of love events in our own city of love, San Francisco LovEvolution : A Dance Music Parade & Festival will carry it's beautiful beat back to the thousands who come to dance in the spirit of tolerance, respect, peace, justice, evolution, and - yes love. Definitely time to evolve."

Lots of content and tweaks to add, but this is a start...

Now now, before people start slamming the name....

We had to pick a name we could trade mark, so we don't have the same problem that caused us to need to change it from LoveFest.

Our first choice was simply SF Love: A Dance Music Parade & Festival

But the word 'love' is too common and can not be trademarked.

We toyed around with a couple other names as well but same problem.

This was the one we liked the most, others liked the most, and one we could trade mark.

Obviously the beauty is, whatever we call it, it's the same party as it ever was...

Went to Love Parde, SF Lovefest, and will go to LovEvolution. Name doesn't matter...only that we have the event.

Can't wait!!! Started my Honeymoon there last year...

LovEvolution isn't that bad of a name, and the event of course will still be ridiculously awesome. I'm really looking forward to it.

If the organizers do a good job in keeping everyone informed, that's all anyone wants. The more updates they give everyone as things progress through their website, twitter, etc, the better...people love this stuff and could help spread interest.

They need to work on travel packages adn get them up ASAP.
Also prob need to start teasing some acts, it's 4 months away....people have to make travel plans if they see acts they like...

Just pointing out these two or three things because it's something they largely haven't down well the past few years. Last year we started hearing acts by now, I think , and anticipation started building. Sure it helped with the incredible turnout last year (I still say it was 125,000+ and not the low estimate I think that's out there).

Real bad name imo. Just not a fan of the combined word thing at all.
Site looks ok. Make sure to keep it updated this time though once info comes out and try to release lineup info as soon as possible to try and make this event larger and larger every year. Usually this event has the lineup released so late its hard for out of staters to attend. I am not talking about the afterparty - just the floats.
