I'm guessing it's v-fib rather than a heart attack. Most of the athletes who die of heart conditions have either hypertrophic cardiomyopathy or arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy.

Yeah, I was about to say that. As in, I knew that too but you just beat me to posting it. Isn't it common knowledge anyway?
