Well! Lift was lovely, but Pure Thrust brought me BACK! Great night!

(Delerium-Silence, Airwave - Breaking Dub, this killer unknown remix of Blue Monday, oh man
**BUT** Mindcircus <-- this BLEW UP THE FUCKIN PLACE holy hell soo early on too)
then BIG BROTHER was relentless. thtew down such old school tracks including Destroy She Said - the Circ (one of my ALLTIME favs)
had all my DC friends up for a great time <3 nice meeting more of the glowsticking.com ppls.

Wow lyssa those are massive ol skool tunes! Nice!
Vergatron in the beginning... walked in, and he started playing it. Highlight of my night even though it was really early, and lift was amazing. Great time.
BTW, it got shutdown? I was too drunk to realize
Don't do drugs, kids!
Anyway, Tyas' set was rocking, I loved all the classics ("Pure Thrust"!!!!)... I didn't dance much because me and the lady had long days of work, but we had our own fun in the Fraggle Rock, nah mean? hahaha... Sean really rocked it from the beginning, 140BPMs through and through, really enjoyed the music...

You would have loved it. i ran into quite a few ppl from years past...they were AMAZED at the caliber of music being thrown down by BOTH Ryan AND Sean. The BPMS just got faster and faster...and practically a Classics Night man if ppl didnt know who Sean Tyas was prior to this (which would be unthinkable), they CERTAINLY do now. |
booo!
Ryan Tyas dropping Way Out West - Mindcircus
as few minutes after I walked into Love was all I could ask for to start off what was another great event put on by Massive Event. Ive been wanting to hear it live for the past week and didnt expect it wouldbe last night, lol. Innocente...Vergatron...oh and can someone please tell me what remix of silence he played.
They were interviewing Sean in that small room near the cave, and the main room was good with the AC, although it still got hot in there, but thats expected considering the amount of bombs that both Ryan and Sean Tyas threw last night. Sean Tyas - Lift going on around 2am? SICK.
Did party really end at 3am? lol, I dont think anyone noticed. Is Love "Final Exit" around 3am always? I didnt know they had a cutoff time where you are not allowed to come in. I thought it was free come in and come out till closing.

Sean also played G&M Project - Sunday Afternoon! PvD's better days (L)
haha.
We ended up staying home and listening to the broadcast! It was crazy fast.
but fuk meee - my boyfriend and I were JUST talking about G&M Project because Gitelman has been rocking it lately and BAM - sean dropped it! (However u spell his last name)
i heard they stopped the party because someone was in critical condition outside the club... some guy named justin or somethin?? dont know him but if anyone knows what happened let me knjow.... on the other hand what a night! mike thanks for makin sure the ac was perfect.. other than the night ending early i have to say not to be gay but im so proud of ryan n sean especially sean ... seriously hes come so far as a dj... when he started he was just more of a producer not really a dj but now when he djs i just never see the crowd jump around like they did last night... fuckin awesome!!! we need him at a bigger venue next time
did the sets get recorded? does anyone know?
im sure someone recorded them, but from what i heard the quality wasnt too good

| Originally posted by zizack seriously? C'mon Sam, I expected more out of you... Goldenscan - Sunrise (Pulser Remix) Fun night btw! Got to Love later than expected due to some ridiculous traffic. But Ryan was opening up very nicely. I actually thought it was Sean at first, because he was in full-on trance mode. Especially liked hearing "I Feel You" at the end. |
pulser remix of sunshine and pvd edit of energize were absolutely awesome to hear. i think anyone on the floor during energize knows what im talkin about

So... the night started out totally amazing with Ryan's classics. he was kidding that he was going to BRING IT! mindcircus was definitely the highlight for me too. there were like 5 other songs i wanted to comment on, but dammit i can't think right now. anyway... great set ryan. just -- awesome.
sean.. i don't even have words for it right now. Thanks for playing "Everything" - vast vision (aly & fila remix) -- that was the highlihgt of the night for me.. if the whole weekend hadn't been as amazing as it was, that song along was worth the hellish 5 hour trip. Circ - destroy she said-- thanks ryan for hooking that one up, definitely took my mind back to pvd @ roxy. Southern sun-- WHATTTTTTTTT. sean, one of the best trance sets i have heard all year. thank you for coming to ny.
great seeing a million people who i havent seen in forever - especially brian. And running into a LOT of dc peeps that i didnt know were coming lol.
anyways, just got home, still rocking sean's may 29 mix and still dancing lol. thanks everyone for an epic weekend... i think 3 afterparties is definitely the fucking max lol!
p.s. drew and lyss-- love u!
p.p.s. molly: thank u
erica: have a blast in europe!
and everyone else.... keep making new york an amazing place for me to commute to and spend/lose all my money in. the memories are totally priceless.
someday, i WILL bring comfortable shoes.

Tis a shame that I wasn't able to come, sounds like a missed a couple of great sets! Although; I was glad that I did the right thing and put the time in with the family. I just miss the NY family; been WAY too long since I've been up!
