we were gonna make the invites a 3 page thing held together with a piece of ribbon.. the front being a sheet of frosted clear plastic, 2nd sheet being the invite. and the 3rd shet being the RSVP, but that website idea sounds cool.. i just have no experience with making websites

Judging by the price of all other wedding things, I will only charge you $54,000 to create an RSVP page!

Congrats too BTW, the day of flies by, be sure to slow down and enjoy.

whoa, i would be really embarassed if i sent that to people for my wedding.

that looks like little jimmy mcjameson's 4th birthday party invitation

you should consider getting a creative professional to work on it. I know you are probably spending a lot of money on other things, but this is going to be one of the tangible memories you have of the ceremony afterwards...

if you PM me your price range I might be able to help you out.

well this is a really early rough draft. im a graphics designer myself, so i dont see the need to hire someone else, im just not a wedding invitation designer, so i guess i need a few pointers

Posted by nefardec on Jun-20-2009 20:24:

- use a different font that isn't so silly
- use a different font for the practical information
- make the big text bigger or the small text smaller
- don't title it 'wedding invitation, use your names, or a big date or something. otherwise it's just too generic.
- bigger margins
- don't use that kind of clip art

- be more careful with capitalization and grammar

IMO this looks like your little sister put it together.

Best thing to do is to review a few that you like and use those as templates. Since your a graphics designer I'm sure you can put something worth of presenting to your fiance

best of luck mate

+one hunnit billion

Make it look professional and inviting rather than cheesy and childish. No bright colors and fluffy text with hearts, keep it simple and make it look like you'd invite the mayor to it

he's got some kind of weird beef with ********. It's like it's his life goal to mention him in all his posts.

Change that font it looks like its a Halloween event , download this font

http://www.dafont.com/english.font

Also don't use red , black is just fine for invitations.

Posted by Leon on Jun-22-2009 22:49:

This.

I feel sorry for you if you're a graphic designer by trade and you think that's passable stuff.

Also, fail at posting wedding date and venue on the internet; I'm going to come and egg the bride.

Posted by pkcRAISTLIN on Jun-23-2009 00:18:

what are you talking about? i would pay top dollar for a design like that. is awesome.

Posted by Boomer187 on Jun-23-2009 05:21:

Now that I really look at mine, there is not a lot of design in them. Most of the cost (and therefore the quality) is the paper it is printed on. Check it...
