How would you be able to transport stuff? That's impossible or else you would also have the ability to make replicas of things as well.
ie: instead of 'shipping' a vinyl to you over the teleporter, they could just duplicate one to you. You could duplicate money too, so there goes the economy. Seriously, I don't think this technology will go further than signal/data transmissions. Just my 2 cents.

ive studied this before and its not really teleporting... a machine makes a copy of the object by destroying it and remakes it at the other end. if it was a human your really killing yourself and the machine at the other end remakes you. in other sense its just like cloning. so i dont think you would want to do that to yourself. but its good for non living objects like if your girlfriend starts whining that she wants ice cream you can just teleport it to her.

Its possible. they have done it, but they teleported just an atom And to move a human to another place well sure they will do it, but we wouldnt be able to see that happen

Exactly.. we are able as of now with quantum physics to "teleport" atoms.. Thus, in theory, it is possible to bend space-time and teleport a whole human being, atom by atom... Excep tthat there is no way to recombine them at the other end, lol.. It's like dying from decomposition into millions of atoms.. hehe joy

I find the concept of teleportation quite a freaky but interesting idea. Stepping into a booth and arriving in a predetermined location milliseconds later is something I just can't imagine, whether scientists have proved it can be done or not. I wonder what a human would see/experience being teleported?

On one hand teleportation would be hella useful as there would no longer be any need for environmentally-unfriendly methods of transportation, and people would be able to get around more easily.

But on the other hand, n00bs could teleport into your living room, or as in The Simpsons you could become a half-human, half-fly monstah. I've put too much thought into this. I'm going to bed
