Dark prog as it was may not be around any more, but I still think there's darker-flavoured (?) progressive house being made. When I had to do the Tech House mix for the genre challenge everyone said that set sounded dark and proggy, and that was made with tracks I found in one day's trawling on Beatport.

I kinda liked it when it was Digweed, but really, the Stephane K and John Creamer stuff was awful. It was one thing to have tracks that were dark and sinister, but so much of it was dark and um, joyless?
