Warning Warning! Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the City of Toronto

SEVERE FAST DEVELOPING THUNDERSTORMS WITH LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS ARE MOVING SOUTHEASTWARD THROUGH OR TOWARD THE ABOVE REGIONS. TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS AND FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING ARE ALSO ASSOCIATED. THE THREAT FOR SEVERE STORMS WILL END BY MID AFTERNOON. THIS IS A WARNING THAT SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE IMMINENT OR OCCURRING IN THESE REGIONS. REMEMBER SOME SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE TORNADOES..LISTEN FOR UPDATED WARNINGS. EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ONTARIO RECOMMENDS TAKING COVER IMMEDIATELY WHEN THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO AFFECT PORTIONS OF THE ABOVE REGIONS. SOME OF THESE STORMS WILL CONTAIN LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS. TORRENTIAL RAIN OF 50 MILLIMETRES WITHIN AN HOUR AND INTENSE FREQUENT LIGHTNING WILL ALSO ACCOMPANY THE STORMS.

It's crazy... The thunder is soooo loud and the sky is black. I wish we got sent home for thunderstorms

i came in and it was so sunny and within 5 minutes it's evil outside!

it's a tournament for work so it was planned months ago. i guess it's time to go inside and drink beer/scotch.

it was so super hot and humid too, walking to work felt like a work out, bleeeh

Hail was hitting my car out in the Highland Creek area around 12:30
